As the past seems to be already past and the future not quite here yet, I prefer defining myself with what I love.

I love my family, my friends, my pets, my work, my life, my house, the sea, the forest, the mountain, the desert, the beach, driving, flying, sailing, running, walking, swimming and racing. I love discovering new places, meeting new people. I love speed, balance and inside strength. I love art, science, history, music, good humor, kindness, good food, good beer, good wine and fine champagne. I love the Beatles, Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, The Cure, Nirvana, Muse, Tame Impala and so may others, rock, blues, new wave, cold wave, jazz, classical. I love live music. I love the beauty of darkness and burning studio lights. I love Robert Smith, Tom Smith, Patty Smith, Chad Smith, Will Smith, and The Smiths. I love Eddie Vedder (and I know Eddie loves me too). I love to play drums and hearing my girls play piano. I love New York, London, Paris, Roma, Venice, my home town and the town I live in now. I love Helmut Newton+ (thank you for voting for me!). I love the feeling of freedom hitting a mountain top at 5am to witness the sunrise. I love taking a deep breath on the Altiplano discovering the deepest colors ever. I love red, white, blue, yellow, grey, orange, green, black, every color in between, new, old, beautiful, cheap, expensive, ugly, fast and sometimes slow cars. I love being in a trunk or standing on a Ferrari’s engine. I love the music of a raging flat six rallying out forest curves in a freezing misty morning. I love the mix of smells of over heated oil, tires, breaks, gas with the pine trees of the Green hell. I love to dress in black and Johnny Cash knows why. I love photography, the thrill of getting shivers when you know you’ve got it.
